United Nations Representative and Head of the New York Office

Michele Elio Polizzotto, obtained a Bachelor’s in Philosophy with expertise in such areas as Theory and Techniques of Communication, Economics and Educational Methods.
Mr. Polizzotto joined No Peace Without Justice (NPWJ), in1996, in New York, as Assistant Manager and Communications Officer; in addition he was in charge of NPWJ’s communications and public relations initiatives in order to maintain a cooperative relationship with the public at large, within the United States as well as the United Nations. Since the fall of 1994 Mr. had worked as a Project Coordinator for NPWJ in Rome for the international campaign for the establishment of the ad Hoc Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, lobbing at the European Parliament and maintaining contact with UN offices, humanitarian and international NGOs.
Throughout of these years Mr. Polizzotto has performance different duties and positions; actually he is the head of the NPWJ’s US Office and UN Representative. He is also assistant program director of the International Criminal Justice Program of NPWJ.
