Lorenzo Vicario

Born in Belgium on 27 September 1970, Lorenzo attended the European School in Brussels before moving to Rome, where he obtained his degree in Political Science and International Law from “La Sapienza” University. He worked in various electoral campaigns before joining the Italian environmental NGO Legambiente, where he spent ten years as Program Manager for projects focusing on sustainable development, education and training, promotion of participation and citizenship, and local development. He has published research papers about the impact of information and communication technologies on the environment as well as several articles covering a variety of topics relating to environmental issues. He is a member of the National Council of Legambiente. In 2008 he began his collaboration with NPWJ as Coordinator of the Iraq Program.
