ICJP History

The International Criminal Justice Program constitutes the original core of No Peace Without Justice: it promoted the International Criminal Tribunals for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) and for Rwanda (ICTR) and it has been one of the key actors involved in the establishment of the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the Special Court for Sierra Leone (SCSL).
Indeed, since 1993, NPWJ has been one of the organisations at the forefront of promoting the establishment and effective operations of an international criminal court to investigate and prosecute war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide.
