Benedetta Lavitola


Benedetta graduated in 2015 in Law at the University of Roma Tre, with a thesis in comparative family law entitled " the surrogacy maternity in the comparison of the Italian, Californian and English legal system". During her studies Benedetta took part at the Erasmus program and spent a semester at the Anglia Ruskin University in Chelmsford, UK. After she graduated, Benedetta started a four months internship at the Italian Red Cross in Rome. During these four months Benedetta collaborated with the legal department of the Italian Red Cross, with a particular focus on labour and administrative law. In January 2017 she started a Master in International Cooperation and Development, at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan. During her master she focused on several issues related to gender, human rights, food security and regional development challenges.
