Erica Ianni


Erica is a Master’s student in International Security and Law at the University of Southern Denmark, where she was elected by other fellow students to act as their student representative. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Diplomatic Affairs from the University of Trieste, where she graduated with a thesis titled “The Iranian Islamic Revolution of 1979 and its effects at a regional scale”. Erica is particularly interested in the functioning of international criminal tribunals and transitional justice processes in the Middle East and South America.
During her studies, she volunteered for several international organizations among which UNICEF and the European Federalist Movement. She previously worked under the Italian Ministry of Interior, where she dealt with tasks related to asylum applications.
