Eva Martinez

Intern

Eva recently graduated from the International Criminal Law Master, offered by the University Paris II-Assas. She also holds a bachelor's degree in Spanish and French law from the University Complutense of Madrid where she studied the first two years, and the University Panthéon Sorbonne in Paris, where she studied the last two years. 
Previously, she has interned at the Court of Appeal of Paris, focusing on the processing of extradition requests and European arrest warrants, more specifically on terrorist cases concerning the ex-members of the terrorist groups E.T.A and the Red Brigades. Alongside this, she has also interned for the Coalition for the International Criminal Court and for the law firm Geijo & Associates that specializes in international criminal law. She will pass the Spanish bar exam next year, to be able to practice as a lawyer in the area that interests her the most, international criminal law. 
Eva’s areas of interest include women’s rights, international criminal justice, human rights and conflict transformation and peace-building. She speaks Spanish, French, English and some basic Italian.
