Flavia Clementi

Intern

Flavia holds a dual Masters degree in Law from La Sapienza University in Rome and Panthéon-Assas University in Paris.  During her studies in France, she specialized in International Law and earned a Certificate of International Legal Studies from the Institut des Hautes Etudes Internationales. 
During her legal training in Italy she participated in a moot court competition organized by the Italian Society for International Organization (SIOI) lodging a complaint to the European Court of Human Rights. 
Flavia wrote two masters theses, one in French on “Foreign interventions in the Syrian conflict” and the other in Italian on the legal basis of the “International Impartial and Independent Mechanism for Syria”.
She is particularly interested in issues regarding International Criminal Law and Transitional Justice in Middle East and South America.
