Marco Benedetti

Marco graduated in October 2022 with a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Brescia (Italy). In January 2022 he undertook an international experience through a 6-month mobility program (Erasmus Plus) in Spain, at the Autonomous University of Madrid. In this last phase of his studies, he consolidated his knowledge about the European Union, international relations and cooperation. The Erasmus experience strengthened his conviction to get involved in initiatives about human rights and international relations.
This choice is reinforced by his interest in politics. He was 13 years old when he first started following national and international politics. After he had been the youngest candidate in the 2018 regional elections in Lombardy (Italy), his political commitment developed and continued over time, as provincial and regional leader of youth political organizations. The same predisposition drove him to engage in student unions since high school, first as Headboy and then as student council President. This background proved to be useful in his professional roles as an HR trainer. Overmore, in recent years he has been able to attend many seminars, politics courses and summer schools. Activities that helped him get a more international overview on
problems and on current global challenges. He’s sure he will be
able to invest his expertise in the NPWJ team, in order to promote human rights and international justice.
