Workshop on monitoring and documentation of HR violations for M0J’s staff

October 2020

In connection with the Human Rights Council's decision to establish a Fact Finding Mission to investigate human rights violations allegedly committed in Libya since 2016, and at the request of the Ministry of Justice, NPWJ organised a three-day workshop for the benefit of 11 members of the Working Group on monitoring and documentation of human rights violations, established within the Ministry of Justice in 2019.

The participants had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with international standards and techniques for monitoring and documentation of violations, on reporting techniques and to strengthen their knowledge of international human rights law and international humanitarian law.
