On Wednesday 19 May at 9:30 CET,  Niccolo Figa-Talamanca, Secretary General of No Peace Without Justice, will contribute to the workshop « The Role of Civil Society in Fostering EU Values and Integration in Times of Crisis », held by Università degli studi di Trieste on the MS Teams platform at the link https://url.garrlab.it/4t6dc
 
The workshop aims to highlight the role of civil society in fostering EU values through active participation in public life. Besides the particpation of academics who will introduce the themes of cultural heritage and EU identity as well as the rule of law crisis and the issue of EU integration, the webinar foresees the direct involvement of Italian and Slovenian students. High school and university students will illustrate how they see the EU, their participation in the Erasmus+ programme and proposals for European youth projects.
