Eleonora Pastorino

Eleonora has just graduated in a master in World Politics and International Relations at the University of Pavia. Her final thesis revolved around the relationship between civil society organizations and conflict transformation processes and it relied on an empirical research that assessed the impact of a sample of organizations on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
She also holds a bachelor degree in International and Diplomatic Sciences from the University of Genova, during which she had the opportunity to study as an Erasmus student at the University of Avignon (France) for four months.
During her studies in Pavia, Eleonora volunteered with the local section of the Community of Sant’Egidio in an Italian language course to promote the integration of young refugees.
In Spring 2020, she worked as an intern for the European Public Law Organization, an international organization based in Greece devoted to the promotion of European values through public law and governance.
Eleonora’s main areas of interest are conflict transformation and peace-building, human rights, international criminal justice and migration issues. She speaks Italian, English, French and some basic Spanish.
