This discussion will examine the erosion of judicial independence in Tunisia and the increasing use of the criminal justice system to suppress dissent. \nObjective:\nThis event will provide a platform for legal experts\, human rights defenders\, and affected individuals to inform the international community and UN human rights mechanisms about the implications of the ongoing crackdown on judicial independence and fundamental freedoms in Tunisia.
