{"id":240150,"date":"2022-06-16T12:00:16","date_gmt":"2022-06-16T10:00:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.npwj.org\/?p=240150"},"modified":"2023-04-07T19:36:19","modified_gmt":"2023-04-07T17:36:19","slug":"annual-international-conference-on-the-future-of-human-rights","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.npwj.org\/it\/press-release\/annual-international-conference-on-the-future-of-human-rights\/","title":{"rendered":"Annual International Conference on &#8220;The Future of Human Rights&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p><strong>European Parliament, Brussels, 16-17 June 2022<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>On 16-17 June 2022, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.europarl.europa.eu\/thinktank\/en\/events\/details\/annual-international-conference-the-futu\/20220603EOT06602\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>European Parliamentary Research Service<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(EPRS) is holding a joint conference with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fightimpunity.com\/post\/international-conference-on-the-future-of-human-rights\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Fight Impunity<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>No Peace without Justice<\/strong>, to shed light of abuses against human rights, to foster a better-informed public debate on the subject, and to help generate a stronger commitment to prioritise it with resources internationally.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The conference will bring together representatives from European Union and United Nations, international experts, academics, civil-society representatives, and actors engaged in the process of defending human rights and fighting against impunity worldwide. The protection of human rights and the fight against impunity are today, more than ever, a very major pressing global challenge and one that needs to be highlighted and addressed with urgency.
