This is mostly due to the conflicts financed by external regional powers that propagate and exacerbate harmful social and political environments at home and abroad. In countries like Yemen, extreme poverty caused by policies of starvation as a weapon of war has an immediate impact on children\u2019s lives. In Libya, the war between armed militias prevents many children from going to school and exposes them to heightened risk of recruitment and
