Il rapporto fornisce una visione d&#8217;insieme sulle numerose discriminazioni e violenze motivate dall&#8217;orientamento sessuale o dall&#8217;identit\u00e0 di genere e contiene le raccomandazioni per fronteggiare queste violazioni dei diritti umani.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dichiarazione di Niccol\u00f2 Fig\u00e0-Talamanca, Segretario Generale di Non c&#8217;\u00e8 Pace Senza Giustizia:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cNon c&#8217;\u00e8 Pace Senza Giustizia (NPSG) ed il Partito Radicale Nonviolento, Transnazionale e Transpartito (PRNTT) si congratulano per la pubblicazione del primo rapporto sui diritti umani delle persone lesbiche, gay, bisessuali e transessuali (LGBT), che descrive il drammatico bilancio della violenza omofobica e transfobica in ogni parte del mondo. Una violenza che spazia dagli omicidi alle torture, dalla violenza motivata dal solo odio alla privazione arbitraria della libert\u00e0, alla criminalizzazione ed alla discriminazione nel lavoro, nel sistema sanitario e nell&#8217;istruzione.<\/p>\n<p>Questo nuovo rapporto \u00e8 un importante punto fermo a sostegno di quelle persone vulnerabili che in tutto il mondo soffrono per le minacce costanti, gli abusi e le discriminazioni basate sui loro reali o presunti orientamenti sessuali o identit\u00e0 di genere. Esso dovrebbe anche essere considerato uno strumento importante per esortare gli Stati membri dell&#8217;ONU al rispetto dei propri obblighi di diritto internazionale per la protezione dei diritti umani, mettendo fine alla loro violazione.<\/p>\n<p>NPSG ed il PRNTT chiedono agli Stati membri delle Nazioni Unite di rispettare le raccomandazioni indicate nel rapporto, allo scopo di combattere violazioni dei diritti umani finora sottovalutate.
