Crans Montana Forum: Emma Bonino awarded “Prix de la Foundation 2016”

On the occasion of its 18th Homeland & Global Security Forum, held on 19-21 October 2016 in Brussels, the Crans Montana Forum organised a special session, under the aegis of the African Women’s Forum, on “Women’s Role in Global Security”, which was hosted at the European Parliament.

In this framework, Amb. Jean-Paul Carteron, Honorary Chairman & Founder of the Crans Montana Forum, and Mr. Didier Reynders, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belgium, awarded the Prix de la Fondation 2016 to Mrs. Emma Bonino, Former Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid, as well as founder of No Peace Without  Justice.

Amb. Jean-Paul Carteron underlined the symbolism of this prestigious prize, which has awarded, since 1989, the most important modern initiators of Peace, Freedom and Human Dignity.
