Benedetta Cascio

Benedetta is a second-year Master’s student in Global and Development Studies at the Roskilde University in Denmark. She holds a BA in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Pavia. Her interests include human rights, democracy and environmental and social sustainability. She has focused on varied research topics, including indigenous people’s rights in Ecuador, climate-induced migrations in the Pacific, and sustainability in the fashion industry.
Alongside her studies, Benedetta actively participates in student organizations and engages in various local volunteering activities, including distributing food parcels and community building. She can speak Italian, English and Spanish.
